Decisions for Christ:

May 2001-    Initial visit.  Revival held with approximately 300 professing faith in Christ.

May 2003-    Second visit.  Carol Chambers goes as a two week missionary.

March 2004- Third visit.  Three day pastors’ and church leaders’ conference.  Total of 1,825 individuals registered, at least and average attendance of 800 with 350 decisions for Christ.

June 2004-   Fourth visit.  Revival and pastors’ conference.  Average attendance of 250 with 79 professing faith in Christ.  Carol Chambers stays for one year of service as a nurse and school teacher.

Oct. 2004-    Fifth visit.  Pastor Gary Wiggons, Buddy Shuemaker and R.D. Easterling went over.  There were multiple professions of faith and a tremendous number of baptisms.  See more here…

Dec. 2004-    Shadrach’s report shows that 85 orphans are under our care, an average of 125 attend Sunday School and worship services, 300 are enrolled in school with more coming and the total number of people treated by the health clinic since March 2004 is 973.

March 2005- While the goal of this visit was more training related than direct evangelism, there were 7 professions of faith at the Village during two showings of the Jesus Film.  There was also 1 profession of faith and 4 recommitments during the April 3 morning service at Commission Baptist ChurchMonrovia, where Christian Hidalgo, owner of the company filming our documentary, brought the message.  We’re serious about evangelism.

Pastor and Church Leader Training Provided:

March 2004-  128 churches represented with approximately 500 church leaders trained during five sessions.  EvangeCube’s and  training was provided to three members of each church to encourage accurate sharing of the Plan of Salvation.

June 2004-    Forty pastors trained per day during the revival and pastors’ conference.

Oct. 2004-     A successful pastor’s conference was held where much needed biblical training was provided.

March 2005-  Approximately 100 village area pastors and other church leaders were provided extensive witness training using the EvangeCube tool.  The training averaged over 4 hours each.  The Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary had 79 students and professors trained in evangelism using the EvangeCube system as well.  Commission Baptist Church of Monrovia also had their pastor and outreach team members trained.  Plus Bro. Shadrach Saywon of the Children’s Village and Dr. Lincoln Brownell, president of the seminary, were both certified to provide basic training in the EvangeCube and left with over 100 additional EvangeCubes and workbooks for that purpose.

Children:

Education-    Three hundred average attendance at the Village’s accredited kindergarten through tenth grade school.  With the completion of the new school, next year will see 11th and 12th grade classes added making it the only K-12th grade school in all of Sinoe County other than at the capital of Greenville.

Orphanage-   Eighty-five children are now being cared for.  Twenty-five are housed full time at the village while the other sixty are being housed by families in Karmos Town.  The cost of food and clothing, as well as lack of sleeping facilities, prove a challenge for the Village.

General Ministry:
