Things are going very fine here with the school construction. They have completed the foundation and they are ready now to do the filling in of the foundation, but they are saying that before they can start they will need all of the plumbing materials because it have to be under ground. We have more blocks on hand now for the elevation of the walls. The total cost for the plumbing materials is $3,500.00 USD.

We are also appealing for you all to help us transport the reminding 500 begs of Cement from Monrovia before the road gets really bad. It will cost us about the same amount the last time ($1,750). We already pad for the cement we only need to transport it to Sinoe. It is our prayer that by the opening of next School year we will be able to use the building by the grace of God. I also will like for you all to be thinking about what to do during the dedication of the building. We will like for a least one of you to be here for that great occasion.

All of the school students are helping us to gather some later rocks for the all of the pillars, so we will not have to pay for the rocks.  Yes all of the students and their parents are very happy about their children school. This pass Monday we had a meeting with the D.E.O, and he was very impress with our progress so far with the school building. We thank God for that.

What every you send should go through Skipper in Monrovia; I am sending Jeremiah alone with the plumbing men to do the purchasing of the Materials.

Thanks,

God bless.

1. Church

To day is the 15th of May 2005, and we are blessed to have in our service 138 persons. We also have three different classes. Today we also do farewell party for Sister Carol Chambers. She is leaving for Monrovia tomorrow the 16th of May. We thank God for having her here to help the Ministry. We will miss her very much and pray that God will send her back. Our Church is growing each and every week. Today’s offering is $230 LD and this money is used every week to help us buy batteries for the keyboard and Candles for our Church services.  Pray that God will continue to bless this Ministry so that the children of Karmo’s Town will come to know Christ and have personal relationship with Him. Pray that God will provide for the Pastor’s Bible school so that we can reach more for Christ. Rev. Wesseh will be here by June so we are praying to be able to start the school. I believe that more people will come from all over this region. I also believe that this Ministry is here to be light house for the people of Sinoe and Liberia.

2. School Construction is going very well. The construction team promises to start the walls by this week as long we can gather more rocks for the pillar. Pray that by the end of this month one section of the school will be completed. We have enough blocks now on the ground. Our only problems are sand and crush rocks. The truck is doing wonderfully well. I know that the truck will want to do more but we have to take time with it before it gives up completely. There are lots that we want to do but it is not what it used to be.

There is some plan I want you all to know about. There are some trucks here in Greenville that they are using for sand, we can ask them to get us sand so we can sent our truck to Monrovia for make some money for us than getting us sand now with the road not good. We can put it under WFP were at the end of the month we can get some money to help with the salaries. Here they will charge about $175 US for each trip, if we can just get 10 good loads of sand it will carry us a long way that we will have use our truck, may-be even to the completion

Thanks,

Shadrach

How is everything? I am here in Sinoe, and things are going very, very fine with the School, Clinic, Church and the School Construction. I am very much encouraged with the way things are happening here with the Ministry.

We have the World Food Program coming with some 23 bags of wheat for the Students and UNICEF also bringing some pencils copies book and some other school materials, that means that the Ministry is not only recognize in Liberia, but also it is recognized international. Thank God for that.

It is with pleasure and courage to E-mail you this note. I thank you so much for your many, many sacrifices for the people of Liberia. We really appreciate it. Things are looking good here with the Ministry and the construction work in Sinoe. The construction team is molding about 9,600 pieces of block for the elevation. It is my prayer that by the beginning of next school year we will be able to use the new school building by the grace of God. I promised that by the grace of God we will not make you ashamed. Your gift to this Ministry will bear its fruit. I also want to thank you for your understanding and patience with us and the ministry. I know things have been very rough on the ministry these past two months, but thank God that He’s still in control of every thing.

I also want to use this time to extend our thanks and appreciation through you for the Church that donated the van to the Liberia Ministry. Please tell them how much we appreciate their generous gift for the work of God. We prayed that God will continue to bless them in their work for the Kingdom of God. The ministry is blessed with these vans and promised that they will be used with care. We believed that God is going to help us do more with them.

I am on my way now to Sinoe, Pray for us for a safe trip.

God bless

 Shadrach.

We thank God for all His many blessing. As for the generator, it is working very fine now for about a week and we have started the water/ice sell. All we are doing now is to get back all our customers who left when the generator went down. Thank God that for our Saturday and today selling, we have a great number of buyers.

The construction work is going very fine. All they are doing now is molding more blocks for the elevation of the building.

Well, sir the last time we had a talk with you and Bro. Carl concerning my Wife and I. Things have not been that easy on us financially. I am very careful not use any of money sent for the Ministry for our personal use.

I believe that what ever you people will give to give us on a monthly basis will be sincerely appreciated. Even sometimes I can not afford to buy some things for my wife or Kenyette. I am sometimes ashamed that I am not able to meet their needs. But thank God that she understands that we don’t have it.

I will be going to Sinoe by this weekend.

Please I want you people to also consider the business in Sinoe, because it will help the Ministry and also be a help to the local people.

Thanks God bless.

I have finally concluded a meeting with about 8 Teachers (all are BSC, AA, degree holders) that include an agriculturalist that is going to do the rice, cassava, pepper, egg plant, animal husbandry and etc. for the Ministry. With this the Ministry will produce her own food other then rice.  Also among them is one of the best Geography Teachers in the Country. Also including them is Rev Harrington Wesseh and his wife. Now with all these qualified Teacher our School will be one of best in the whole County, praise the Lord.

Please let us pray that God will help us meet our monthly budget so that we can keep all our employees. Thank God that the Generator has been working now for three nights entering tonight.

Please look at the information that I e-mail you people the last time about the Ministry’s proposed plan (Short and long range plan). To help us meet these needs monthly we need to open the shop in Sinoe and a welding shop. I believe that with this we can do more that we do not have to call to you people all the time.

Please e-mail me to let me know as we are committing our self to these Teachers, they are very important to the Ministry. All we need is your commitment that we will be able open the shop and the welding shop as soon as possible because this budget will come into effect by June. Please we need this business in Sinoe, it will help more drivers with the stress of mechanical and mostly tires problem. This shop will really be a help for all those traveling to and from Sinoe, knowing that there is hope ahead of them if there are any problems.

I am so thankful to God for my life. The devil thinks he is able to stop the work of God but he is a defected worrier (Isaiah 54:7). The news from Sinoe is that the truck is doing well with getting more sand, praise the Lord for providing the money for the springs and the key starter. The foundation is now completed and they are molding the blocks for the elevation of the building. It is our prayer that by the grace of God we will be able to use it for the next school year (September).  Both of the buses are running well, is only that we are using the blue bus for Sinoe now that the jeep is gone. We pray that God will provide a vehicle that is made for that kind of road. This will make things easier for us and also help with the Clinic in case there is a patient who needs greater medical care so that the ministry can transport them to the big hospital for treatment.

Well, I have talk to lots of people who are welling to work in the garage as soon as we get it started. Our only problem here is how to come up with this month (April) salary ($2,850.00)? We need to pay our employees by the end of this month. All we have lifted now from one of the buses is just $8,250.00 LD ($200).

The only thing we have working now is the green bus, we are using the other for trips to Sinoe. The truck is doing well with the construction by getting sand for the work. The generator has only worked for two days and started to over heat, but it has already being taking care of and we will be getting it back by this Wednesday by the grace of God. I pray that things are going to get better by the grace of God, so that we can take care of all our salary for the next month salary (June). As soon as the month comes to an end I will sent you accountability sheet that you left here for our record.

We are at the point like Isaac when he asked his father Abraham in the book of Genesis Chapter 22:7-8 “behold the fire and the wood but where is the lamb for the burnt offering? We have the employees that we need to do all the good work that is going on in Sinoe (School, Clinic, Orphanage and many more). The past two months were very tough for the Ministry here in Liberia. Lots of things have being happening to get us discouraged about the work here, but yes through this the Lord has encouraged us the more that giving up is not an option for us as long God is for us. All we need to say is that our God is able to get us through it all in the blessed name of Jesus Christ. I believed that our hope in God will lead us to say that our “God will provide for Himself a lamb…..”

I believe that to succeed in any thing you need to go through some problems as long it is of God. I know that having a ministry in Karmo’s Two to train pastors and spread the Good News of Christ is not going to please the devil so he is going to do all he can to stop the work of God, but praise the Lord that He has won the victory and all we have to do is to be willing and faithful to His calling (Habakkuk 2:1-4).

Thanks for your many, many blessing for the Liberia Ministry. It is only God that will reward you for every thing.

God bless.

Shadrach.

Below are some short and long range plans for the Liberia Ministry by the grace of God before this year come to an end. This is outside of the ministry construction in Sinoe.

It is our prayer that we should be able to help out here in many ways we can to help with some of our emergency needs here for the ministry. Because, we want that whatever we received from you people must go directly to the building of the Ministry. There are lot of things that we can do here to help raised more money for the Ministry.

We are also praying for the pastoral and layman training that we are going to open, by the grace of God, in June. We pray that more of the pastors and their staff will come at least three times a month. We will need to feed and find a place for them to sleep. Rev. Wesseh has agreed to move to Sinoe for us to work together with the local Churches.

I will be going to Sinoe to start sending out the letters so that I will first of all have a meeting with them so that we can select the days of the week that they will be able to meet for the training. With this now, Skipper is the one that is going to take care of everything here in Monrovia, because my work has started so I have to be in Sinoe with my calling.  Pray that God will give us the resources and leadership ability and what to teach these people with patience. Pray for God’s guidance as we deal with these people who have no idea about Salvation, but claim that they are Pastors.
